Happy Valentine´s Day!!!!
Hope everyone had a good day :)
Well, i had quite the experience yesterday! So we were walking to pick up our investigators to go to church. We had just got our last one and heading to church and it starts pouring rain. Luckily my comp had a little umbrella in her bag...mine was back at the house, i had forgotten to grab it. But we gave the umbrella to our investigators to use, and we start taking off towards the church. We were soaking wet, from head to toe!!! And the even better part of this story is we had to give talks in sacrament meeting which was just about to start! Yeah I get up to the pulpit 30 minutes later, looking like I just took a shower....oh the experiences from the mish :) It was fun though! And my talk went well. Oh and something else happened in sacrament meeting. Not sure what you guys think about this, but I´m pretty sure this is NOT right: having a confirmation during the meeting, after the sacrament has been passed and after 2 talks have already been given.....AND......passing the sacrament ANOTHER time for those who had come in late and for the person who had been confirmed (the confirmation wasn´t ours, it was one of the members´kids) yeah, first and only time I´d ever seen that, and I told my comp we need to talk to the bishopric about that. I´m sorry, I don´t have the priesthood or anything, but to me that isn´t right. But anyways...
this week has been really good! We got a couple references last sunday and we have been teaching them this week and they´re amazing! They´re two teenagers that live on the same street and they loved church! Their names are Rafaela and Davi. Yesterday at church he had said he wanted to get baptized that day, but said we still had to teach him a little more, so he said "ok then next sunday" It was so cool! But our mission pres came out with a new rule that if they´re under 15 they have to go to church 4 sundays before they can be baptized. He wants them to be more integrated into the church. So we´re going to be teaching his whole family to try and have them get baptized all together. We´re actually going there tonight to teach them about the plan of salvation. I also brought the Liahona to show them, the special one on temples. We´ll talk about eternal marriage and families as well. I´m really excited to see how it will go.
Well, I got a lot of pictures over email! The brown house has COMPLETELY changed!!!! It´s not brown anymore...what are we going to call now??? It looks way good though, I really like it!!! Oh and I haven´t gotten the valentine´s package yet, but we´re actually going to a district meeting tomorrow, so I hope it´s gotten here! Wow, so kelsey is getting pretty serious?! I haven´t even heard about them! Oh if she gets married I hope it´s august when I get home!!! And Lindsey is dating too?! Wow, everyone is going to be married when I get home! But I´m happy for everyone, that´s awesome!
Hey, well I gotta go. Hope everyone is doing great and congrats chandler on getting nominated for an escort, garrett for passing the driver´s test and joey for becoming a deacon! THat is so cool!!! I love you all so much and mom and dad, hope you two have a good week as well! I love you guys!!!
